Mumbai, Feb 08 (ANI): Piyush Goyal today said the interim budget presented on Feb 1, was not an “election-oriented” budget. “I do believe this budget is only one in a journey of 5 years. It is a culmination of a journey. It is not a standalone process. It is not at all election-oriented,” Goyal said while addressing the post budget 2019 industry interaction at BSE International Convention Centre in Mumbai. Goyal in the interim budget had announced sops like income tax relief upto Rs 500,000 per annum, and a farm income support scheme – Kisan Yojana.
