Patna (Bihar), Feb 02 (ANI): Former Janata Dal United (JDU) MLA Rishi Mishra quit his party on Saturday to join Congress. The move is taken at a crucial time of only few months ahead of Lok Sabha elections. Firmly stating his stand, Mishra said that the only reason behind quitting the party is not to betray voters being a part of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), “I was getting very difficult to work in JDU. Last election I fought against BJP, people of my constituency voted against BJP. So now how will I answer my voters? I don’t have issues with Nitish ji but can’t work with BJP. So I will join Congress.”
