Kharge’s allegations ‘unfounded’, ‘objective criteria’ was followed: MoS Jitnedra Singh on CBI Director

New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): Countering Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s objection to the appointment of IPS officer Rishi Kumar Shukla as new CBI director citing the officer’s ‘lack of experience in anti-corruption cases’, Minister of State (MoS) in PMO Jitendra Singh said whatever Kharge said was “totally unfounded & not based on facts” and that a “very objective criteria” was followed for selection of the CBI director.
