Tiruppur (Tamil Nadu), Feb 11 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for a new integrated terminal building of Tiruchirappalli International Airport and also inaugurated the last leg of Chennai metro rail through video-conferencing. He also declared six underground metro stations for Chennai metro while laying the foundation stone for modernisation of Chennai International Airport, (Phase-II). While addressing a public rally during the event, PM Modi said that the new integrated passenger terminal building in Tiruchirappalli airport, which is being built at a project cost of Rs. 950 crores will be able to facilitate atleast 3,000 passengers after its completion. He also added that the main goal of his government is to ensure the ease of living for all Indians.
