PM Modi promises reduced distance between Delhi-Leh ‘once Bilaspur-Manali-Leh rail line is completed’

Leh (Jammu and Kashmir), Feb 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Jammu and Kashmir for a one-day visit, made the inaugural speech at the University of Ladakh. He also launched several projects under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) here. Prime Minister said, “Once Bilaspur-Manali-Leh rail line is completed, the distance from Delhi to Leh will be reduced. It will also benefit the tourism sector. Protected Area Permit’s validity has been increased to 15 days, now tourists will be able to enjoy their journey to Leh.”
