rime Minister Modi arrives in J&K for 1-day official visit

Leh (Jammu and Kashmir), Feb 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Leh in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, for a one-day visit. He was received by a platoon of officials including J&K Governor Satyapal Malik and Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa. Modi had earlier visited Jammu, Srinagar and Leh on May 19, 2018 to lay the foundation stones of various infrastructure projects in the state. He will travel to all the three regions of the state – Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu. He is set to lay foundation stones for a host of projects during the trip. The significant projects include laying of foundation stones for the AIIMS – one each in Srinagar and Jammu, the sources said. In Ladakh, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the work to expand Kushak Bakula Rinpoche Airport in Leh. He will also inaugurate the Srinagar-Kargil-Leh transmission line. He will also address public meetings.
