Delhi Police launches ‘School Road Safety Awareness’ campaign

New Delhi, 24 Oct (ANI): Amulya Patnaik, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, launched the ‘School Road Safety Awareness Campaign for Academic year 2019-20’ today at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi. The campaign is an effort on the part of Delhi Traffic Police to mobilize the schools in spreading the message of road safety. Message of road safety will easily get conveyed by students to their parents, elders, relatives and peer groups which will have a positive impact on the society as a whole. Speaking on the occasion, Amulya Patnaik called upon the principals and teachers to instill and imbibe habit of obeying traffic rules among students. “Road discipline should come habitually and naturally. It needs to be inculcated and cultivated at a formative age as it would lead to prepare law abiding citizens,” he further said.
