Jaipur (Rajasthan), Oct 7 (ANI): Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot recently inaugurated the new Heart Transplant Operation Theatre, office of State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTTO) and e-Library at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. On this occasion, while addressing the gathering, CM Gehlot said that state government is making efforts to bring Rajasthan on top position in medical and healthcare sector. Education and health are the sectors that are for serving people not for earning. Chief Minister also asked private hospitals to provide treatment to poor people on subsidized rates and provide treatment to other patients on reasonable rates. SOTTO office opened in SMS Hospital is the seventh in the country. It will organise organ donation motivation camps to generate awareness among public about the organ donation and will collect information from various hospitals about organ recipient patients and will coordinate in distribution of organs to patients in waiting list.
