Bihar Governor Debanand Konwar inaugurated a function which was organised to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Kaviguru Rabindra Nath Tagore at Magadh Mahila College in Patna on September 29, 2010. Speaking on the occasion, Bihar Governor said Rabindra Nath Tagore was Kalaguru as he was a great poet, musician, educationist, artist, writer and philosopher.
Students of the music department paid tributes to Tagore by presenting his compositions and dance sequence on the occasion.
