11 Rahmani 30 students clear CA entrance

Jan 29(Ummid.com): In a remarkable show of success rate, 11 of the total 16 students of the CA Coaching Centre – jointly run by Rahmani Foundation and Pune based Ummul Qura Foundation – cleared the Chartered Accountant (CA) entrance exams in their first attempt.

The results were announced last week.

“In its very first year of establishment, our Coaching Centre has registered an impressive 59% success rate. This is quite satisfying and encouraging for us”, Chairman-Founder of ahmani Foundation Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani said from Patna while speaking to ummid.com on phone.

Patna based Rahmani Foundation and Ummul Qura Foundation, Pune had joined hands in June 2010 to establish the coaching centre to prepare Muslim students for Chartered Accountant (CA) exams. Admission to the centre, which is run on confessional basis, was done after written and oral exams.

The students of the centre, who appeared and cleared the Common Proficiency Test (CPT), which is generally regarded as CA Entrance, include Shakaib Yusuf, Syed Kamran Omar, Shaabaz Khan, Faizan Aalam, Jahangir Aalam, Saabir Aalam, Nisar Ahmed, Rashid Shahidi, Ha’meem, Ishtiyaque Ahmed and Mohd Yasir Ehsan – all belonging to Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

They are now eligible to appear for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) exams after ten months.

The Chartered Accountant (CA) exams are considered as one of the toughest and the overall results are normally marginal. While the CPT results are between 25-30%, IPCC and CA Final results are normally between 15-25% and 1-10% respectively.

Patna based Rahmani 30 was initially established by Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani in line with Super 30 to prepare Muslim students for IIT JEE. It came to the limelight when all its ten students, who appeared for IIT JEE, cleared the exams in their first attempt itself. The foundation now plans to establish centers to prepare Muslim students for Scientific Research and other higher end courses.
