Saha informed the matter to the manager of Balurghat branch of SBI, Subhasis Karmakar, who immediately informed the head office of SBI in Kolkata and to the IT department in Mumbai.

“It was a technical mistake of the IT department in Mumbai. It has been corrected. Now, there’s no problem,” SBI sources said. “Although the money was shown to have been credited in his account, it wasn’t possible for him to withdraw it,” the source said.
