Makers of Superhit Action Film Rowdy Rathore are planning to have a part 2 of the Film. However, it is said that the movie would be based on the early life of Supercop Vikram Rathore. The idea is to go back in time and portray the life of Vikram Rathore – the death of his wife and his posting in the village.”.
“I think once the film does well, people expect sequel or a prequel, but when something develops, we will keep the people updated,” says Sonakshi Sinha, who played the lead actress in the movie.
The film will probably be titled ‘Don’t Angry Me’ – a dialogue that became famous with the first part.
The movie, directed by Prabhu Deva, and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, marked Akshay Kumar`s comeback as action hero. It has regaled the audience with its masala, spunky dialogues and raw action.The film has grossed over Rs.100 crore at the box office.
However, with Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi and Prabhudheva busy with their ongoing projects, the film will only start next year. “After Prabhu’s Namak, he will go ahead with the second part of Rowdy,” the source added.
Meanwhile, rumors are that ‘Rowdy Rathore’ Director Prabhu Deva to do Item Song in Akshay’s Next Film Oh My God. The film directed by Umesh Shukla features actor Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sonakshi and is based on a Gujarati play “Kanji Viruddh Kanji.”
