Kya Super Cool Hai Hum collects 6.5 Crores on its Opening Day

Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, which is the sequel to Kya Cool Hain Hum has done a very remarkable business on its First Day. It did open very well at multiplexes with collections around the 60-70% mark. It collected Rs 6.5 Crores in its Opening Day which is 8th Highest Opening of any Bollywood Movie in 2012. It is expected to collect a gross Income of Rs 10 Crores in First 2 Days. Made on a mild budget of Rs 17 Crores, Kyaa Super Kool Hain hum has been released on around 1400 screens across the country.

The opening at multiplexes was similar to Bol Bachchan but with a less shows as compared to Bol Bachchan. Multiplexes in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad all opened to good houses.

The single screen opening was a bit lower but that is expected as the cast is not too strong but overall it should post a healthy first day total on strength of multiplexes. It is by the far the best opening of all Riteish Deshmukh or Tusshar Kapoor films where they have been the solo leads.

Kyaa Kool Hai Hum released in 2005 which did very well and grossed around 15 crore nett which was a very good total at the time
