Patna: Wipro Technologies has selected 53 students in the Campus placement drive conducted here at Birla Institute of Technology, Patna Campus.
Each select has been offered a package of Rs 4 Lakhs annually. The Campus placement Drive was also attended by the students from several other campuses of BIT including that of Mesra, jaipur, Deoghar, Kolkata, Noida and Allahabad.
According to BIT Patna Director Dr. S L Gupta, out of 53, 16 students were from Patna Campus and were students of Computer, Electricaal and Electronics Engineering.
Last month, another major IT Company Headstrong recruited 7 Students while Congnizant (CTS) recruited 30 students from Patna Campus  at a similar package.  Networking Software Company Aricent is reported to have selected 23 Students from Patna. IBM also selected several students from BIT Patna.
Many more companies are likely to visit Patna Campus in the coming days.
