Over 3 Lakhs of Pilgrims and Devotees have gathered at Patna Saheb to celebrate 347th Prakash Purab (Birthday Celebrations according to Sikh Rituals) of 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Elaborate Security arrangements have been made at Patna Saheb as Sikhs from all corners of country are gathering there. As per the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, over three lakh people are expected to take langar at the Takht Saheb.
The event will be marked by recitations of Gurubani Keertans (holy hymns) by reputed Ragi Jathas (community preachers) who are specially being invited from various parts of the country to render Shabad Keertans and throw light on the teachings of Sikh gurus.
