New Delhi: A man from Bihar was ran over by Delhi Metro Train, when he was crossing the tracks to reach another platform.
Vinod Kumar, 40, a labourer from Gaya in Bihar, jumped onto the tracks at the R.K. Ashram Marg Metro station to reach platform number two, breaching safety norms.
Earlier it was reported to be a Suicide Case.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Bhatia said the man failed to see a train pulling into the station. Before he could save himself, the train crushed him.
A police officer said earlier that the man, who had reportedly come to Delhi to meet a relative, had suddenly leaped before the train.
The death halted train services for 20 minutes at the station, affecting traffic on the metro’s Blue Line.
Now a days accident is common thing and solve out this problem big issue.We people don’t follow the traffic rules while driving which causes lost of life or serious injury.
