Actress Loveleen Kaur was assaulted in Broad Daylight by goons in Mumbai, while a crowd kept watching the whole drama instead of rescuing her. The incident took place near  Oshiwara Junction area of Mumbai on Wednesday August 28, 2013.
Beautiful Loveleen Kaur Sasan, who rose to fame with her role in Bade Acche Lagte Hein was travelling in an Auto Rickshaw along with her Friend, when someone tried to snatch her purse and tried to flee. Â However, the actress Kaur jumped from the rickshaw and chased him.
At some distance, the snatcher was joined by two others, who rounded up the actor and her friend and beat them in presence of a small crowd, which had gathered on the spot. Â Surprisingly, no one came forward to help the actress, who defended herself from the assaulters and got injured in the whole process.
Luckily, their cries for Help was heard by Local Policemen, who rushed to the spot to rescue . Police managed to arrest two of the assaulters while the third one had managed to escape.
Later, Loveleen Kaur and her friend were taken to nearby Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the 20 minute long ordeal.
The Reports of Crime against Women has risen alarmingly after the infamous Photojournalist Rape case in the Shakti Mills Area of Mumbai last week.
