The Arrest of Mumbai Gang Rape Accused has revealed several facts which were unknown before their Arrest. The Accused were Repeated offenders indulging in most of the heinous crimes. The Police Investigation and the Statements of Locals have revealed a lot more about them.
1. The Accused have revealed that they had raped four more women at Shakti Mills Compound during last one year. This was told to the Police during Investigation by gang leader, Mohamed Kasim Hafiz Sheikh, alias Bangali.
2. The Accused had made the Rape Victim clean up the entire scene of crime so that no evidence remained.They clicked photograph of the survivor and threatened to defame her if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
3. The Rapists had taken over her Mobile Phone and switched it off when a phone call came from her mother. They returned it only when they were assured that all the Spot evidence leading to Rape Confirmation were erased.
4. Two of the Accused were repeated offenders and were booked earlier for Robbery and other theft crimes. Media Reports show that the accused showed no remorse for  the Rape.
5. The Rapists went for normal life as if nothing had happened and it was common for them. They had tea at the stall before leaving for home. Next day they went for a Metro Matinee Show of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
6. The Owner of Mahalaxmi Tea and Cold Drink House near Shakti Mills, confirms that they were chaos of the society. They would loiter in the neighbourhood till the middle of the night. Always intoxicated. Always loud. Always harassing women and young girls. They used to bring stolen cell phones, cash and jewellery and boast about how they got what from whom. That’s how they made money. It was the same stolen cash with which they paid for the tea and snacks. They would talk about who they robbed and people they harassed and how they did it in detail,
