The Third Edition of Formula 1 Indian Grand Prix shall be held between October 25-27 this year. It would be held at Buddh International Circuit in Noida and organized by Jaypee Sports International Limited.
Indian F1 Grand Prix 2012
The Tickets for the Formula 1 Race are already on Sale. The Sunday ticket price for ‘natural and picnic stand’ starts from Rs 1,500, while a three-day Indian Grand Prix ticket for the same stand has been priced at Rs 2,000. While a main grand stand lower-tier ticket for Sunday is priced at Rs 12,000, a three-day ticket for the same stand has been priced at Rs 21,000. It can be booked at the online ticketing website www.bookmyshow.com
The Indian Grand Prix organisers could only choose 650 out of the 7,000 applicants who wanted to be part of the Indian Grand Prix as marshals this year. In 2012 there were 4,800 applicants and the year before 2,000.
The First Indian Grand Prix was held in 2011 and subsequently in 2012. The Race consists of 60 Laps over a 5125 m long track covering a total distance of 307249 meters. The first two editions of Grand Prix were won by Germany’s Driver Sebastian Vettel.
Reports are that there wont be any Grand Prix during 2014 due to political and scheduling reasons. The Same would be organized during early 2015.
