5th SACOSAN Conference begins in Nepal from October 22

The 5th  South Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN)  would begin in Nepal on October 22.  It would be attended by delegates from SAARC Countries including India. The conference  is held every two years on a rotational basis in the region.

The Nepalese President will inaugurate the conference on Monday evening with the public opening in the historical city of Bhaktapur. The technical sessions will be held in Kathmandu from Tuesday.

The conference is a common platform for the member states to discuss problems and explore solutions promoting mutual understanding to achieving complete sanitation in the region.
