Ghaziabad:Â Â The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Saturday announced that the party’s core committee member Shazia Ilmi will contest the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from Ghaziabad constituency.
Shazia Ilmi, who lost the R.K. Puram assembly seat in Delhi Vidhan Sabha Election 2013 by a narrow margin, has agreed to contest from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, the party said.
Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh is the sitting parliamentarian from Ghaziabad.
