Kanpur: A bride walked out of her wedding after her bridegroom-to-be failed to solve a simple maths problem in Uttar Pradesh.
The braveheart girl who refused to marry
The bride-to-be Lovely got suspicious of the groom’s educational qualification. She asked the groom, Ram Baran, to add 15 and six. When he replied 17, she refused to marry.
The incident took place in a village in Kanpur city. Lovely’s friend Rekha said she has acquired good marks during her exams.
According to media reports, groom’s family tried to convince the bride. Later the gifts that were exchanged between both sides were returned.
