New Delhi: Police would move court to restrain broadcast or publication of Delhi gang rape convict’s interview after registering the case, Police Commissioner BS Bassi has said.

British filmmaker Leslee Udwin interacted with Mukesh Singh, one of the four men sentenced to death in the case, while making a documentary on Delhi gang rape – ‘India’s Daughter’.
According to a news report by an Indian media house, Singh said had the victim not fought back and had she silently allowed the rape to take place, she would have been dropped off after ‘doing it’ and they would have only hit the boy.
Bassi urged the media not to publish or broadcast the interview till the court’s order.
