Devotees of various religion celebrate urs of Abdul Rehman Mian Manak in Srinagar

Their message of religious tolerance earned them followers from different communities who celebrate their urs with religious fervour and gaiety. A similar example is seen during the annual urs of saint Abdul Rehman Mian Manak in Srinagar where devotees from different parts of the state gather at his shrine to pay homage to him.

During the urs, the day long prayers are held by the devotees to seek blessings. Men, women form part of the celebrations. In the vicinity of the shrine, food stalls are being installed to serve different delicacies to devotees.
