Vince Vaughn was Los Angeles on Wednesday (March 4) to take care of business and cement his place in history.

The cement mark

The cement mark

The “Wedding Crashers” star leaving a permanent mark on Hollywood Boulevard by sinking his hands and feet into wet cement.

It’s been quite the journey for the 6 foot 5 star, who made his name in films like “Swingers” and “Old School”.

“I remember being young, like John said, and one of the first places that I came to and you would look at all the hands and the feet and the names that were here and I don’t know that I ever really gave myself permission to think that that would be possible. I really just thought if I could work as an actor I was way ahead of the game. So today, to be included into this party and to be a part of this means a lot for me and it’s a lot of fun and I’m very grateful for that honor and to be recognized in that way.”, he said.

The imprints will be lined up in the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre along with other famous names.

It sets in stone a strong start to the year for Vaughn – who’s filming the second season of HBO’s crime drama “True Detective”.

His new comedy “Unfinished Business” is opening up in the U.S. on March 6th.
