Subrata Saha warns of more infiltration bids in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 28 (ANI): General Officer Commanding of Indian Army’s 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Subrata Saha, on Wednesday said that infiltration bids from across the border increase during this time of the year and all efforts will be made by the Indian army to foil such attempts.

Three Indian soldiers were killed and a fourth wounded by a group of six or seven gunmen who crossed into Indian Kashmir from the Pakistani side of the disputed border on Monday.

The army killed one of the militants in a gunfight that followed. Talking to mediapersons, Saha said that the overgrown grass during this part of the year provides perfect opportunity for the militants to try and infiltrate the border.
