Kochi: A special NIA Court in Kochi has sentenced ten accused in the professor’s hand chopping case to eight years rigorous imprisonment and fine.
The lawyer said that ten accused out of all the listed ones have been termed to eight years’ imprisonment while three others who were found guilty on different grounds were sentenced to two years’ jail term and they have also been granted bail.
He added that NIA claims investigation is still underway and this judgement comes before the completion of investigation.
