PM Modi attends Naadam festival in Mongolia, tries hands on archery

Ulan Bator, May 17 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attended a mini Naadam festival in Mongolia’s capital city Ulan Bator. Organized at Chingisiin Khuree camp in the Mangolian capital, Naadam festival is a national sporting festival where the PM will watch wrestling, archery and horse racing events in an open arena. Dressed in traditional attire of the country and a hat, the prime minister also tried his hands in archery. Modi is in Mongolia or the “Land of Blue Skies” on the second leg of his three nation tour. He was received at the airport on Saturday by Mongolian Foreign Minister L Purevsuren. Following the same, he is also to address a community reception and banquet in Ulan Bator.
