New Delhi A day after DTC bus driver was beaten to death in Mundka area of the national capital, Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai announced compensation to the kin of the deceased.
He said that the government has decided to give Rs 5 lakh to the family of the driver and also assured of a government job to any family member. He also said that the accused in the case was arrested after raids at different places. Meanwhile, Rai also slammed BJP for politicizing the issue and said that the party should stop doing it.
He said that the DTC bus drivers went on strike after BJP workers instigated them for the same, which is ultimately creating problems for the people of Delhi. He also announced measures for the safety of bus drivers and conductors.
