Examinees place money in answer sheets to secure pass marks in Agra

Agra, June 16 (ANI): Examinees in Uttar Pradesh have resorted to a unique bribery method by placing currency notes in their answer sheets to pass university examination. The matter was brought to notice when an evaluator in Agra city found a five-hundred Indian currency note in an answer sheet with a request to pass the student. Teacher Ravi Sinha said it was not a new phenomenon. He said the students had pleaded for pass marks by making strange excuses in the past also. Coordinator of evaluation, Bhupendra Sharma said Bhimrao Ambedkar University had adopted a coding system to ensure fair evaluation of answer sheets. Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring Bihar are notorious for open mass-cheating with teachers turning a blind eye.
