New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das imposed a ban on the sale of thermocol plates. The move is aimed at the promotion of leaf plates in the state. Das, who was on two-day visit to West Singhbhum district and naxal-affected Saranda, made the announcement on the concluding day of his visit. He said that it would help to generate employment for the poor and the tribals, who are engaged in making leaf plates. The ban is for the entire state, he added. The Chief Minister also announced one lakh rupees to those villages in the state which become liquor-free.
