Chandigarh, June 29 (ANI): The local residents of Chandigarh protested on Monday against the administration over encroachment issue regarding a particular colony. Police baton charged the protesters and many have been injured in the process. Protesters alleged that police officials baton charged children and elderly who have suffered serious injuries and admitted to hospitals. Meanwhile, police say that situation got tense after the crowd began pelting stones and police officials have also been injured.
