Mumbai Hooch Tragedy: NCP demands strict action against manufacturers of poisonous liquor

New Delhi, June 20 (ANI): NCP leader DP Tripathi on Saturday demanded strict action against the manufacturers of poisonous liquor as death toll continues to rise in the Mumbai Hooch Tragedy. At least 81 people have lost their lives after consuming poisonous liquor in suburban Mumbai city and many victims are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. The condition of at least a dozen is said to be critical. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had ordered quick probe into the case and demanded report within two days. Three people have been arrested in the case and the others are on the lookout. Police have also reportedly cracked down on the law enforcers by suspending many senior officials said to be involved in the incident.
