New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Shiromani Akali Dal Spokesperson Prem Singh Chandu Majra on Thursday said that the Punjab government has decided to grant relief of Rs 2 lakh to suicide victim Surjit Singh’s family. Majra also said that he will visit the deceased farmer’s family in their village soon. The SAD spokesperson also blamed Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for the suicide. Earlier, Gandhi had condoled the death of a debt-ridden farmer from Punjab who had met him, and blamed the Narendra Modi government for the plight of farmers in the country.
