Chennai, June 30 (ANI): The AIADMK workers celebrated outside Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jailalithaa’s residence as she got 67,899 votes and CPI’s Mahendran 4,876 votes after the seventh round of counting. The counting for the RK Nagar by-polls, which recorded a poll percentage of 74.4 percent, began on Tuesday morning. The RK Nagar seat fell vacant following the resignation of P. Vetrivel. The DMK, PMK and VCK have boycotted the by-election for various reasons. A total of 28 candidates are in the fray in this assembly segment.
