Sushma Swaraj says at UN, yoga can serve as antidote in a divided world

New York, June 21 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj addressed the International Yoga Day event at United Nations headquarters in New York. Swaraj said that yoga can serve as a perfect antidote in a divided world.

She said that when ethnic conflicts and extremist violence are threatening to destabilize society, yoga is the only solution.

Swaraj also maintained that yoga is neither a religion, nor should it be seen as belonging to any religion and that it’s a science of well-being.
