India should say no to death punishment, say NCP and CPI

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): CPI and NCP leaders on Thursday said that India should say no to death punishment. After death warrant was issued for 1993 Mumbai Blasts case accused Yakub Memon, he was hanged to death in the morning today. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that death penalty in peace loving India may not be a right message and now people should come forward and raise their voices against it. CPI leader D Raja also shared a similar view saying that an eye for an eye should not be the philosophy of India’s judicial prudence.
