Bhopal, July 03 (ANI): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra joined a UNICEF campaign to raise awareness against the prevalence of anaemia among adolescents in India. The actress, a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, addressing a press conference in Madhya Pradesh, spoke about the need to spread education about child nutrition in India. Chopra, who has been associated with UNICEF for close to ten years, said that malnutrition in children, especially among girls, was a cause for worry. She commended the UNICEF and the central government for their new initiative which aims to address the issue of anaemia among adolescents in India. Experts say that girls constitute more than two-thirds of patients, who are admitted and also those who drop out before completing the treatment.
