New Delhi, July 22 (ANI): The new Chief of Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal on Wednesday visited the GB road area of Delhi to take cognizance of the situation the women face there. Maliwal said that she will interact with every woman and try to understand the circumstances in which they survive. She said that her aim is to make the capital safe for women. Speaking about the tussle over her appointment Maliwal said that she has not received any information or intimation from the LG. Najeeb Jung had earlier annulled the appointment of Swati Maliwal as DCW Chief citing the reason that he was not concerned over the matter.
