Women’s hockey team arrives in Delhi after finishing 5th in HWL semi-final

New Delhi, July 06 (ANI): Indian women’s hockey team returned to the country after finishing fifth in the Hockey World League (HWL) Semifinal in Belgium, following a 1-0 victory over Japan. The team was given a warm welcome upon their return for their commendable performance in Antwerp. Captain of the team, Ritu Rani, expressed happiness at the team’s performance. With their performance in Belgium, the women’s hockey team has kept its chances of qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics alive. Five continental champions and the top six teams in the HWL Semifinals, along with hosts Brazil, will qualify for the Olympics.
