Kolkata, Aug 28 (ANI): Subhas Chandra Bose’s Grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose on Friday said that the excuse given by the Prime Minister’s Office for not declassifying Bose’s files is totally bogus. The PMO has told the Central Information Commission that it cannot declassify files related to freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose as it will adversely affect relations with foreign countries. The freedom fighter’s grandnephew said that the prime minister had assured the family in the regard and now the orders from the PMO are in contrast with the same. He said that the PM should clear the difference of opinion with the government and come out with a solution. He maintained that the correct history should be told to the coming generations about Netaji, because of whom the nation became free.
