New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to slash diesel and petrol prices by Rs. 1.17 and Rs. 1.27 per litre respectively from midnight of 14th August /15th August, 2015. Petrol in Delhi now costs Rs 63.20 per litre, as against Rs 64.47 a litre previously. And a litre of diesel costs Rs 44.95 as compared to Rs 46.12 previously. Prices of Petrol and Diesel were last revised on August 1, 2015. Since last price change, there has been a decrease in international prices of both Petrol & Diesel. INR-USD exchange rate has, however, depreciated during this period. Combined impact of both these factors warrants a downward revision in prices, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price decrease.
