Water conservation in Rajasthan must transform into a movement: Vasundhara Raje

Jaipur, Aug 11 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje recently addressed a water and soil conversation workshop in Jaipur. While addressing the workshop, Raje said water conservation must be worked upon in such a manner, so that it transforms into a movement. She further said, keeping in mind the dearth of water in Rajasthan, the representative of the people must work in tandem with the common people like the Maharashtra ‘jalyukta shivar abhiyan’. Maharashtra ‘jalyukta shivar abhiyan’ officials delivered a presentation highlighting the key aspects which was in turn highly appreciated by the Chief Minister. Raje, urged all the concerned officials to be prepared well in advance. Expressing concerns over the water situation, Raje said, Rajasthan’s two-third part has come under ‘dark zone’, and added, in this campaign of conserving water various NGOs and religious organizations must be united.
