Wine lovers clink goblets to good health in Nagpur

Nagpur, Nov 30 (ANI): Wine connoisseurs clinked their goblets and said ‘salut’ at a three-day wine festival in Nagpur. The third Nagpur Wine-Festival, organised by the Indian Grapes Processing Board with the Nagpur Wine Lovers Club, Nasik Valley Wine Club and Indo-Israel Agricultural Organisation, is nestled in the heart of India’s grape land and is attracting both Indians and foreigners alike. Eight famous Indian wine brands were served during the festival, along with cheese and tidbits. Wines included Fratelli, Sula, Grover Zampa. Bartenders were seen putting up an exhilarating show, juggling flaming bottles of wine; some even seemed to be blowing out fire from their mouths. Organisers said the event was aimed at promoting a wine culture in India and also the health benefits of the beverage. Through this festival, we aim at discouraging people from consuming spirits and liquor. We encourage them to have wine instead, which has a lot of health benefits.
