Forest officials rescue leopard from village in Gujarat

Gir Somnath, Dec 2 (ANI): Forest officials rescued a leopard from a village school in Gujarat. Due to the rise in the population of the leopards and shrinking habitat, these animals from the forest areas enter into villages, in search of food. The forest team reached the spot immediately to carry out a rescue operation. It took the officials around four hours to safely rescue the animal from a school in Paldi village of Gir Somnath district. Though the residents also helped in the rescue operation, the incident created panic and fear among them when they heard the leopard had entered their village. The forest officials took the leopard away in a vehicle and after a check-up it will be released into the wild.
