Paris, Dec 01 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for New Delhi on Tuesday after attending the Climate Conference in Paris. During his visit in Paris, the Prime Minister along with French President Francois Hollande launched the international solar alliance which is aimed at eventually bringing clean and affordable solar energy within the reach of all. The Prime Minister also addressed the Climate Change Conference (COP21) Plenary where he announced a 35 per cent cut in carbon emissions by 2030. Prime Minister Modi also met United States President Barack Obama and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the conference.
