Faridkot (Punjab), May 27 (ANI): A 24-year-old Muktsar resident, Ajmer Singh alias Jimmy Sidhu, was killed in a police encounter near Dabri Khana village on the Kotkapura-Bathinda road late last night. The police claimed that Jimmy was a member of a criminals’ gang operating in Malwa, but his family members have accused the police of killing him in a fake encounter. Faridkot Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) SS Mann on Friday said that they are investigating the matter. He also said that the incident took place late night so it’s too early to come to any conclusion.
