Srinagar, May 24 (ANI): Tanvir Hussain, also known as ‘Marathon Man of Kashmir’, represented India at international snow shoe championship in Italy this year. Hussain, who hails from Rainawari area of Srinagar, use to take part in school games since childhood. In last three years, Tanveer has won almost every major marathon race held in the Valley. Out of the last eight races he participated in, he won six. Tanveer has recently achieved the title of ‘ironman’ after bagging a top position in triathlon championship in Srinagar. Before this, Tanveer bagged as many as two dozen medals, including gold, bronze and silver in different marathon championships at intra-state level.
