Gulbarga (Karnataka), May 26 (ANI): Farmers of the Kadaganchi village in Karnataka, whose lands were acquired to construct a university, have been protesting in front of the Central University of Karnataka in Gulbarga since last 15 days. The protesting farmers alleged that the state government had acquired the land from 98 families in Kadaganchi village for the Central University, but failed to provide the proper compensation. The protestors have planned to block the highway if the government failed to fulfill their demands.
