New Delhi, May 26 (ANI): Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s purple lip colour on the day five of Cannes film festival became the talk of the town. While the actress defines it to be a call taken by her cosmetic brand, B-town’s fashionista and outspoken actress Sonam Kapoor said the former beauty queen just wanted to make headlines. In a recent interview, Sonam said the whole idea of fashion and make-up is for people to discuss it and Aishwarya’s purple lips outing gave her the attention she wanted, which she thinks is great. She added that she too had worn purple lipstick in the past and even black for a shoot, but nobody spoke about her and nothing was trending on the social media. Sonam has never failed to surprise her fans with her fashion sense but seems like the actress has got a little affected by the attention that Aishwarya got at the festival.
